In stock items are packed and shipped within 48 hours of receipt of order Monday through Thursday.   Express items are packed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order Monday through Thursday.  Orders received Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays are packed and shipped within 48 hours of the next business day, within 24 hours of the next business day for express orders.  You will be notified if item is out of stock and the expected delivery date and given option to leave your order on backorder or to cancel the order.

All Items are shipped via any of the Federal Express Services. Some orders can be shipped COD, Federal Express charges for COD deliveries, those charges and will be added to such orders.

We no longer use the United States Postal Service due to the number of shipments that were continually long deliveries for Express and Priority Mail, packages lost, opened or damaged. As it has been noted to us by management of the USPS, "we do not guarantee anything". If you wish to utilize the USPS for your shipment for string or smaller items ONLY, we can provide a quote for costs via email but take no responsibility for the shipment once it is in the hands of the postal service. Complete your order and confirm it through the system process and mark for payment "send quotation". Make notation in the comments area you would like cost quoted for USPS. We will email you with service type and costs and can adjust your invoice via credit/debit to your credit card payment if necessary, or advising the revised payment for your mail in order with check. ALL shipments will be insured against loss or damage when labels are created.

Online E commerce sites are created for a " DO IT YOURSELF " ordering system to keep costs down by not having to utilize phone sales and additional clerical personnel.

Phone orders are ONLY utilized if the site is down for any reason. If the site is working you will be directed to place your order on line.

If the site is down and you need to place order prior to its going back online, Please call the VENUS Harps Business Office number for phone orders @ 847 818 0578, between the weekday hours of 10:30AM - 3:00 PM CST (central standard time).

There are no orders processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. ALL orders must be paid for via credit card at the time of placement. Mail orders must be paid via check in full for items and shipping or must note a day-time phone number to contact you to obtain credit card information, if your mail order notes "call for credit card" . NO ORDER is shipped without payment in full at time of order.

If you wish to order via mail using our ORDER FORM with payment via check, an online account with your information must exist to process any order received in any format at any time. Please complete your registration information first, before trying to place any order.

Once your account has been created, you can log on with your account at any time and make a pseudo order with the items to obtain totals and shipping prices by taking the order to the end of the process and checking the shipping option you wish to utilize. If you do not want to order online at that time, or instead wish to place order via mail or fax, use this process to obtain the correct shipping rates. AS long as you do not CONFIRM the order it will sit in the shopping cart on your file until you either confirm the order or delete it.

You can add, delete or change any item in your cart until the confirmation of order point. ALL quantities are defaulted to (1). If you want more than 1 of any item, put in the correct number you wish to order, click on UPDATE, otherwise the cart will default back to the amount of 1 item.

NOTE: WHEN ORDERING VIA MAIL IT IS EASIEST TO CHECK THE PAYMENT OPTION (CHECK/MONEY ORDER) AND CHECK METHOD OF SHIPPING AND CONFIRM YOU ORDER. You can print off this order and mail with payment, we will also receive a copy of your order and can pre- pack it prior to receipt of your mail-in payment. Using this method is the fastest and all totals will be accurate for items and shipping when writing out your check for payment.

Remember mail orders take anywhere from 3 - 10 business days to reach our postal box depending on what city and state they are mailed from. When your mail-in order and payment is received you will get an update to the file for the order and can check it by logging into your account and checking status or any open order.

Modern day harps by Major Harp Makers, Pedal Harps as well as non-pedal harps, use standardized gauges and lengths for their strings. They are based on the products of the major harp manufacturers of both types in the USA and other well known modern day major harp producing countries. 

Unconventional harps that are hand made to no standardized specs or from countries that do not make harps from the standard materials and specs often cannot accommodate the strings sold here or by other string suppliers.  Using strings not meant to be used on your harp can create problems.  Consult the manufacturer of your instrument to verify what the correct string types, lengths and gauges you should use prior to ordering and replacing.
